Hello all, Popping by to share my make for this weekend and it fits 3 whole challenges! Here is my card: I love this stamp it always makes me chuckle! I’m entering this card into the Less is More … Continue reading
This is the card that very nearly never happened! I managed to mess up my Silhouette Cameo software (laptop screen went black so I switched it off with the on-off button and when laptop was switched back on the silhouette software wouldn’t load!). I emailed the silhouette support team and within half an hour had a reply with three things to try to fix the problem. The first didn’t work, the second completely messed up my laptop so I had to do a system restore (!), luckily the third fix worked – phew! I did lose all my saved designs though 🙁 Here’s a link to the fix should you ever have the misfortune to have the same experience: http://www.silhouetteamerica.com/faq/solution/333
Anyhoo, after all that here is my card for the arrow challenge over at CASology :
I used my silhouette to cut out the Mr and Mrs and added some glossy accents to the and, The hearts were cut using my punches. I even remembered to use my new printer to add a congratulations sentiment to the inside (I keep forgetting I can print straight onto card now!)
Thanks for stopping by!
Sometimes the easier a challenge seems the harder it is to come up with an ‘interesting’ idea! This was certainly the case for me when trying to think of something for the polka dot challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.
Here is what I finally settled on
Don’t they make a fetching couple?
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
This week over at CASology the theme is “Royal”. My mind went straight to princes and princesses – here is what I came up with:
I saw this Whimsie Doodles images and instantly thought of the saying “you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince”. I drew a little crown and added it to the image to turn the frog into a frog prince! The sentiment is from Fresh Squeezed stamps and I love it! I do find using my promarkers relaxing:-)
The frog looks like it’s trying to escape which makes me giggle!
I’m also entering this card into the anything goes challenge over at Passion for Promarkers.
Anyhoo thanks for stopping by!
There hasn’t been much time for card making over the past few weeks – which is a shame as I’ve been itching to try out my new goodies!
Today I have two variations of a wedding card, which I have made with a couple of challenges in mind.
