Bit of a delayed post given that Mother’s day in the UK was back in March! Anyhoo here is the card and gift I made for my Mum this year:
My first shaker card! Wasn’t as time consuming as I thought it would be! I stuck some buttons and sequins around the sentiment to add interest when the card was stood up.
I also made this word art heart and framed it – it’s personalised with names and special dates. I used this handy website called tagxedo – you can create word clouds in lost of different shapes (unfortunately you can’t sell them though – they are just for personal use only).
Hi all! Today’s post is a special post as it is my guest designer post for Uniko Studio! I was lucky to win a GD spot in the last Uniko Studio challenge and so I hope that my card will … Continue reading →

Popping by with a card inspired by the shop challenge over at CASology. I don’t have many shop related stamps so in the end I went with a subway style sentiment (Kaisercraft) which says “Maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means just a little bit more” (I think it’s a quote from Dr Seuss/the Grinch film – at least that’s what Google tells me!).
Today I’m excited to reveal that I’m this week’s:
Muse is definitely one of my favourite challenges so it goes without saying that when I received the email from Ardyth asking if I’d like to be a Guest Muse I was thrilled and jumped at the chance.
Here’s what I came up with:
I aimed for a simple but classy Christmas design and in the end used the large Uniko Studio snowflake die and let it snow stamp (in real life the sentiment is sparkly silver). To make this card I die cut the snowflake from my card base and then rotated the die cut snowflake and adhered it to the card blank.
